Tutoring with results has been a passion of mine for several years. Even while working retail and in a bank, tutoring played a major role in my life and my students' lives. Leveraging my degree in Applied Mathematics has allowed me to continue this passion for private tutoring and working at a 1-on-1 school. Always interested in learning techniques meant to engage the student makes it as exciting for them as it is for me!
Teacher of high school students in the subjects of Calculus, Economics, Trigonometry, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Statistics. Our 1-on-1 teaching arrangements allow for use of techniques that work for the student and engage them. While some thrive on traditional textbook lectures, others do best while interacting with various mediums of information such as YouTube, Kahn Academy, and Blogs.

"Hi Katya! Hope you are ready for the holidays! I wanted to let you know that Ella's SAT scores came in today. She did amazing! We were hoping to increase her math about 20 points, 520-540. She went up 60 points, to a 580! Awesome! Everyone was so happy!"
